Congratulations Megan and Dr. Khan for being featured on the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) Blog, talking about the challenges that remote communities face on a daily basis. The project embarks on a new and innovative way to increase energy, water and food sovereignty in remote communities.

The EISEn Lab has received a CMC Microsystems MNT Financial Assistance Award. Through this support, coatings will be developed using physical vapour deposition, and micro and nanotextures will developed, all at SFU's state-of-the-art 4D labs. Congrats team!

Dr. Khan gave an invited talk at the IEEE Electron Devices Society Vancouver Chapter on Friday, December 18th. The topic of the presentation was "Surfaces with Tunable Wettability for Enhancing Performance and Longevity of Sustainable Energy Systems"

Dr. Khan gave a talk on coatings to protect hydrogen infrastructure at "A Carbon-Free Fuel: Hydrogen Can" as part of the 2020 Berlin Science Week. Dr. Khan was a finalist in the Science Slam competition at the event which invited early-career researchers and entrepreneurs from around the world to present their work on hydrogen energy. This paper has been recognized as a Research Award Letter - Dr. Khan received first place in the Marcel Pourbaix Corrosion Science Poster Competition held at the NACE Corrosion Conference held in Nashville, TN in 2019
